SF 5.0 Oracle RAC on Solaris 10: Not able to create database using dbca on raw storage.

I am trying to setup the Oracle RAC (2 nodes) on Solaris 10 platform.

I have successfully installed VCS and Oracle 10g R2 by following the SF 5.0 Oracle RAC Installation & Configuration guide.

After this I was trying to create a database using 'dbca' on raw shared volumes. I am getting the following error

The pop up window says

ORA-00301: error in adding log file '/dev/vx/rdsk/rawdb_dg/vrt_redo2_1' - file cannot be created

ORA-17502: ksfdcre: /dev/vx/rdsk/rawdb_dg/vrt_redo2_1' Failed to create file

Could someone please assist me in solving this problem? I was trying to debug this problem for past 3 weeks and no success. Any info on this could of great help.

have u chown oracle:dba the entire volume ......like it says in manual ?

Yes, I have chown all the raw volumes created to oracle:dba.
