Hi

From the format menu, label the emcpower0a /1a/2a devices using label command, this will lay down a VTOC on the disks. once done, try vxdisksetup again.

Hi Mina,

From the output the device you should use for disksetup is emcpoer0a. So label it first by format from Solaris, then run vxdisksetup -i emcpower0a again will succeed.

Hi all

-- When I tried label, i got the below error

Ready to label disk, continue? y

-- After that, when I run vxdisksetup, it works

/etc/vx/bin/vxdisksetup -i emcpower0 format=sliced

Thanks alot

Congratulations. I think if you format it to clean and re-label it will solve the problem too.
