Installing Volume Manager 3.1.1 on Solaris 8 (SUNW E250 and SUNW Sun-Fire 280R) servers. I'm using 2 identical 72GB disks to mirror.
I get the same error on both servers I'm installing:
The installation goes Ok, the disks get encapsulated and then the system reboots once, all Ok.
It goes through a second reboot but fails to come up completely, it goes into INIT S with the following error:
ld.s0.1: vxconfigd: fatal: libmp.so.2: open failed: no such file or directory.
VxVM doesn't seem to be able to mount root and /usr so alot of the libraries are not available.
Has anyone seen this before?
