Hi everyone,
I have an issue mirroring a boot disk with an other disk :
03-13-2014 02:20 AM
Run:
vxdisk list rootdg01 | egrep "public:|private:" vxdisk list rootdg02 | egrep "public:|private:"
If the source disk has no free space, then the target disk needs to have an equal or greater public len - if it is smaller, it could be because the private region is bigger on your target disk, in which case you need to reinitialise your target disk.
vxdisksetup -i disk_name privlen=size_of_private_len_on_the_disk
where diskname is the name of the disk in the 1st column of "vxdisk list", not the Volume Manager disk media record (rootdg01)

Could you provide output of "vxprint" and "vxdg free".
Also how are you mirroring - vxdiskadm or command line - please give option selected in a menu, or command line you are using.
