Checking installed product CPI ERROR V-9-40-1083 Cannot upgrade product because it is not installed on your system.
I can no longer see an option to install or upgrade just the SF components without HA, jusat a choice of SFHA or VCS so not sure best solution.

The installer is probably calling "installsf -ha", so trying running installsf manually so you can omit the -ha option (the installsf program should be in the storage_foundation directory).
Once SF is upgraded, you should then be able to run installvcs (from cluster_server directory).
