heres the vxdisk list output
DEVICE TYPE DISK GROUP STATUS
c0t0d0s2 sliced disk1 rootdg online

vxprint -ht not working for appdg
how to recover it back.

you need to unmount any filesystems / stop using the dg and deport and reimport to resolve the issue.

solution above is correct, you need to deport & reimport the diskgroups, only thing I would add here is, checkout what happened in the background to the disk (I hope its a internal disk). whether disk has hard errors ? If yes, prepare a next plan to preserve your data & get the disk replaced
