Hi,

Please i like to verify with are the advantages on vxvm/vxfs over zfs.

 

 

 

 

The maximum size of an LUN is limited to the maximum size that the file system created on it,support?

Hi,

well with SF 6.1 & VXFS version 10 layout, it can support a filesystem upto 8 exabytes

To answer your question yes, max size of Lun is limited to max size of filesystem you can create however that value is in exabytes & I don't think you would have a single Lun with that size.

Here are supported filesystem sizes in SF 6.1
