Can a solaris 11 VNIC be part of a NIC resource

In solaris 11 you create virtual nics but when i try to configure the "NIC" resource to be the vnic

NIC:nbu_NIC:monitor:Device name (vnic) could be a typo or Device is not configured.Resource State is OFFLINE

Which version of VCS are you running ?

 

Can you post the NIC definition from the main.cf file.
