The first task for configuring application monitoring using ApplicationHA (for VMware) or the Symantec High Availability Solution is to install the Symantec High Availability Console on a dedicated virtual machine. You can install the Console using the installation wizard.
The Symantec High Availability Console installer registers a plug-in for vCenter Servers and adds the Symantec High Availability user interfaces in the VMware vSphere Client. These interfaces are used to perform application monitoring administrative tasks.
