I backup volume D from Dell R730, and recovery it to Dell R540, but I can't open the volume recoveried in the server Dell R540.
In the Disk Manager, the status of the volume recoveried is raw.

How did you restore the volume? Within Windows or using the Recovery Disk?
You may want to try again but this time using VSR 18 for the restore (trial version here: https://www.veritas.com/product/backup-and-recovery/system-recovery).

Within Windows.
I installed VSR 18, but after the Windows reboots, VSR 18 can't run.
So I uninstalled VSR 18.

Yes, I replied to your other post with a possible solution to that problem.
Was the original volume NTFS? Is it still available?
You may want to try restoring it using the recovery disk to see if this works any better.

Thank you for your help. I have installed VSR 18, and it is already working normally.
The original volume is NTFS and still available.
Today, I have restored volume D using the recovery disk of VSR 18, but I also can't open it.
The server prompted me Volume D need to be formatted.
I don't how to deal with it.

Are you able to open a support case for this issue? If yes, please provide the case number.

My software is over 12 months old, the new renewal fee will be at the end of the month, so I am not able to open a support case.
The original volume is working normally, and I copy all the data to the new server.
After I repurchased the VSR 18, I will open a support case to study why the new volume can't be opened after recovering.
