Attempt to setup Symactec LiveState User account failed on Client PC

I used the Domain Admin account to install the LiveState Recovery Desktop Suite on Windows server 2003 standard edition. When I add the Client PC to managed group. The client PC rebooted and then a prompt pops up and say "Attempt to setup Symactec LiveState User account failed".

The manager console also stated invalid agent credentials and nothing can do then.

Could anyone please advise if there is some problems related to the account settings. Thanks a lot.

Hi Henry

Have you tried installing LS Recovery Standard/Advanced Server instead of Desktop version?

Thank you

I have got the trial version of LSR desktop suite for evaluation purpose. Is there any bug with desktop suite version?

Thanks

Hi Henry

There are no bugs with this version. The problem is that you need to install LS Recovery Standard/Advanced Server in an OS that works as a server (W2003).

The LS Recovery Desktop Suite is designed for OS that works as workstations (WXP).

I hope this clarify your doubts

Thank you
