BESR 2010: Email notifications

Just wondering if there's a way anywhere to specify a different SMTP port other than default 25 for the SMTP Notificationis option in this product.  If it matters, I'm working with the Desktop Edition, not the Server Edition. Even a registry hack will do, it's only for a half dozen systems.

Unless the synatx in the actual text field for the SMTP Server can be used to speciiy the port, but i tried myservername.net:## format and that didn't work.

If there's no option to use a non-default port, does anyone know of a half-decent public SMTP server that's safe to send these BESR notifications through?  I personally doubt such a thing can be considered "safe" but I just want to explore all options.  Maybe Symantec has one or something.

Thanks!
