Hello. I'm struggling to get the granular restore option to work with my trial of Backup Exec System Restore 2010.
It works with one exchange 2003 server but not the other. GRO reports that the EIF file is missing.
On the server where GRO works, I can find the EIF file by exploring the recovery point, but on the one it doesn't work, i can't find the EIF file anywhere, so the error would seem to be accurate.
I am backing up all the drives so I am getting the binaries and everything else. I've read that symantec creates the EIF file when it detects exchange is installed; well, what does it do to detect that exchange is installed? Because it certainly is installed, but it is not detecting it and creating the EIF file.
