BESR 2010 High Network Bandwidth Usage

In troubleshooting a failing backup for a client, I noticed that the network usage was up nearly 100% while the backup was running on a 100Mb network. I feel this may be the cause of the failures.  I tested it on a gigabit network and the usage was around 10%. Is there any way to throttle this usage up or down?

Have you tried using the network throttling option?
