Have 10 Dell 2850 servers running W2003 Svr and another 2850 running BESRM 8.0.1.24979
5 servers publish fine. 5 servers have event viewer error when trying to publish and do not show up on BESRM console:
Error E339197C: An error occurred while publishing.System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Unable to register computer. String indexout of range: -1 Unable to register computer. String index out of range: -1
I've gone through every bulletin, forum post, troubleshooting tip, mgmt control uninstall/reinstall in different ways and always this same error when trying to publish (5 out of 10 servers). No problem with XP clients.
I can't seem to find info on this particular error except in 1 forum post (https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/besr-manager-i-have-deleted-managed-server-cannot-add...) that never said if it was resolved.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
