I am looking at the compatability guide for BESR 8.5 and it says that VMWARE ESX has a Qualified Verison of 3i update 2. Does this mean the only version that is compatibile is 3i u2 or is this the lowest supported version? i.e If I use esx 3i update 3 or 4 that it will be supported? How about esx 4.0?
Also is it possible to restore a v2i to a new VM using the system recovery CD or does a conversion to VMDK have to take place and then copy the VMDK to my data store?
