I had a virtual machine running on
HOST WIN 2012 HYPERV
GUEST OS WIN 2008 R2
with an SSR2013 deployed using SSR 2013 management solution, that appeared like non working (STATUS ? on the management solution, so like it was not installed, maybe not installed properly?). After updating to 2013 R2 management solution, I have set install policy to install SSR 2013 R2 on any pc not running any SSR. Because of this, it immediatly deployed SSR 2013 R2 on such machine. after installing and rebooting, the VM is not able to boot anymore, and I don't even get a "safe mode" boot option if I press F8 at boot, only "start windows normally" or "start recovery"
Normal boot gives this BSOD
0x0000007B (0xfFFFF880009A9928, 0xFFFFFFFFC0000034, 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000)
If I try to start the recovery and run the recovery utility from cmd, I get
a patch is preventing system to start
file system check error 0x2
I guess that some installation problem occurred and caused a big mess in windows startup
I didn't notice SSR was not working on this VM till now, so I also don't have a recent backup of it....
Any help is appreciated

Can you boot the server and get to the command prompt?
If yes, change into c:\windows\system32\drivers and do a DIR /A. What file size is shown for VTrack.sys ?

I just found that Vtrack.sys is missing, maybe this is the problem?

vtrack.sys is missing

That is the likely reason then. Something obviously went wrong during the installation.
Do you have a working server that you can copy this file from?

sorry with DIR /A it shows up
466704 byte is the size

That looks correct.
Can you please open a support case for this?

A'm afraid I cannot as I am in trialware

Again the same, please confirm if it is missing or has a file size. In case if it is missing, can you copy the same from a working machine ?
