I am using Veritas version 184.108.40.206016. My system has Windows 10 running on a 2016 Virtual Machine Server using a Buffalo drive for backups. The server has 2 partitions C: and D: When a backup is attempted it fails getting the error code E4F3000F Unexpected VSS writer error. I can successfuly backup just the C: partition with out failure. This is happening on 2 different systems. I changed the Buffalo drive and one of the systems ran for several hours and failed with a different code. "ED800018 Cannot add recovery point to the history of this drive." The other server get the E4F3000F error. It also fails when attempting to save to a USB 2T drive.
Any help is appreciated.
