Backup Exec System Recovery Management Solution and WinServer 2008 Incompatibility

We just downloaded the latest version of this software and we have a Network Storage Server running Windows Server 2008 standard, we wanted to install this management tool on that server so we can manage our client backups, but it will not install on this operating system.  We would have installed Win Server 2003 Standard, but it is no longer available for purchase.

Does anyone know when there will be a 2008 compatible version out for this software?

The BESR MS is only supported on W2K3, not W2k8:

Support for Windows 2008 will be available early next year in the next major release of BESR-MS.

when is this new release going to come out? I had heard something about march/april, it is correct? because i've done a search on google but nobody really talks about it yet...

Yes the next release will be will be coming out in March or early April. And will will suport installation of Management Solution on Win 2008 server.
