Backup Exec System Recovery Management Solution - installing plug-in on clients.

Hello.

Does anyone know if it is possible to install management solution plug-in on clients without altiris ?
I've tried to install Backup Exec 2010 on one of our computers and then manualy the plug-in, but it didn't work.

I don't want to have Altiris on our company computers becouse we have diffrent software distribution solution, and installing two applications to perform same task is undesirable and will unnessesary use computer's memory.

The altiris agent is a fundamental part of the management solution - it must be installed along with the BESR plug-in.
