Backup Exec System Recovery: Taking Backups on Oracle Server

This is a simple query, I would like to know if it is possible to take Hot Backups on Oracle Server or are we only able to take cold Backups from BESR 8.x?

Should be possible with version 11g Release 1 or later.

Otherwise, you will have to use a pre-imaging script to stop the database services and then either a post-snap or post-imaging script to restart the services.
