Hi,
My daily backup is intermittently failing with the below error message.
This happens on different backup drivers, and just on the C drive. Completes fine on all other drivers and servers on and around the time it tries to backup the C drive on this 1 server. Even though it backs up another drive on this server without any issue.
I rotate between 4 backup drives and it doesnt follow a pattern, one day itll be successful and another failed.
(0xe7d1001e 26 FILEACCESS_ERROR_CANT_READ Args [1] Arg (0xbab0012 Result (0xebab03f1 14 ERROR_OS_ERROR Args [1] Arg (0xbab000d 50 The specified network name is no longer available.);));)
Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: C:\ Full Backup.
Error E7D1001E: Unable to read from file.
Error EBAB03F1: The specified network name is no longer available.
Any help is appreciated

What are you backing up to? Sounds like you are maybe backing up to a locally attached drive that is rotated?
When you see this error, is this part of a backup that backs up multiple volumes? ... and those other volumes backup successfully in the same backup when this error is seen for volume C?
Maybe check the windows event logs to see what is shown there at the time of this failure.

I am backing up to a Synology backup drive. Yes, it is a local drive that is rotated daily.
All other volumes backup successfully, it's just drive C that has this issue intermittently.
Checked the event logs and just shows this.
Error EC8F17B7: Cannot create recovery points for job: C:\ Full Backup.
Error E7D1001E: Unable to read from file.
Error EBAB03F1: The specified network name is no longer available.

What version of System Recovery is running on this server (check in Help/About for details - don't provide a screenshot though as this screen contains license information) ?

It is Version 9.0.1.36527

This is the same on all servers.

That's a really old version that is no longer supported. There have been numerous fixes/enhancements made to the product since then (too many to mention here).
Maybe worth upgrading to latest version (VSR 18)...?
