Hi There, we have been using BESR 8.5 for a few years now and really like it. This week i have been building a new server Win 2003 Standard R2 64bit, to replace a 32bit server of the same type. The problem is that the install on the new server wont accept the product key, we have 5 licenses on this key and to my knowledge we currently use 4. I contacted customer care as our support contract has now expired and they validated the key as genuine. Can any one help me with this issue?

Try to stop the BESR service, then delete the following registry keys if they exist and afterwards restart the 2services:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec System Recovery\8.5]
"O"
"AK"
"LO"
"MLO"
