Backup files and folders into one file

REAPer61616

Hi!

I'm new to community so please be kind for me. :)

I've installed SSR2013r2 (trial), plan to buy license.
Is there any chance to make backup of selected files and folders to one image?

Thanks in advance.

Is there any chance to make backup of selected files and folders to one image?

What exactly do you mean by this?

SSR files and folders backup is resulting in many files in many folders in one folder called File Backup Data. I need one file instead of many files. I don't want to compress files, because of time (backup and restore will take more time).

That's just how a file/folder based backup works. You cannot change this I'm afraid.

A volume-level backup (this is the main focus of the product) produces a .v2i (full) and .iv2i (incremental) files.

So maybe there is an option to schedule full backup to image (partition), but exclude some folders, files?

Or maybe can you point me product that can do full volume image and backup files and folders to image too?

You cannot do file/folder exclusions for a full backup - not with our product anyway.

However, you may be able to use the FilesNotToSnapshot registry key to do this; https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa819132%28v=vs.85%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=...

What exactly do you want to exclude and why?
