Can I create a batch file or something with for a dynamic backup?

Hi,

we bought Symantec Backup Recovery 2013R2. It it possible to create a batch file or something, which create a backup with defined parameters?

I want, that our people install only the software. And then they should run a file that use symantec to create a backup on a network storage in a folder with their domainname.

A few years ago it was possible with acronis, there was a command tool which i could use for this.

Has anybody an idea how to solve my problem?

Yes, on the product CD there is a folder called Documentation. Inside you'll find some information.

You can script SSR by VBS or powershell, including running pre-defined jobs.
