Hi, our customer has one Windows server (Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 Std) which has MS SQL server 2014 installed.
My question is:
If I use Symantec System Recovery 2013 R2 to back up the whole server, will the MS SQL database be included in the backups? If yes, when I restore the full server, will the database automatically be restored? If no, is there a way in SSR to back up MS SQL database separately?
Thanks in advance.

The SCL does not list MS SQL 2014
http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH201318
SO the version of SQL is not supported with SSR 2013 R2
But yes if you backup all the drives it will backup the database as well and while you restore it will also restore the database automatically.

You are looking at the wrong SCL. Here is the SCL for 2013 R2:

SQL 2014 is supported!
