Can't restore a folder. Change your documentation then!

Why do you call it a file and folder backup when you actually can't restore a folder?  If you are not going to fix this (and it doesn't look like you are) please change all the documentation and dialogs in the software to say "File" backup.

I can not believe someone designed this software without the ability to restore a folder.

What a joke, I am so sick of crappy symantec software.  We dumped your AV for ESET, no we are going to dump your backup software as well.

Were you able to restore a sub-folder and all of its content by mounting a recovery point within WIndows Explorer as a virtual drive? On a system where BESR/SSR is installed, right click on a recovery point image (*.v2i or *.iv2i file) and choose Mount.

I have the same problem, I do only backup of the "users"folder on laptops, so I don't have recovery point. Customer ask me to restore a folder and i notice that is impossible to do..

Any solution?
