After completing installing Backup Exec Systeme Recovery 2010 Installer SP2 and Backup Exec System Recovery 2010 Management Solution SP2 my system has completly stopped working. All my backup have stopped working. In Manage Tasks I get another error that refers to Error reading the filters. I really need some help. I am getting this error message:

The same errors occured with me, my solution was to completely deinstall besr 2010ms, the besr installer and the LOR installer using the SIM, rebooting the server and then reinstalling it. Although the installation took more then 2,5 hours it finally succeded.

Yes that is what one of my developers said it would be easier to do though what a pain. I am afraid now to install anything updates they put out there if we are going to have to reinstall this everything they do a service patch1

I installed the patches in the past on a regular basis and as I think SP2 was a major upgrade I'm confident that this will work out in the future.

You wrote that when you deinstalled besr 2010ms, the besr installer and the LOR (which I am not sure what that was) you used the SIM. What was that? I am going to uninstall mime today.

SIM = Symantec Installation Manager
LOR = Lights Out Restore
