Configure backup job for restore anywhere NOT permitted

I havent seen any option on how to configure restore anywhere NOT permit.I would appreciate if anyone can help me with this issue.

If you simply not enable restore anywhere when restoring a machine then SSR won't do a restore anywhere. Afaik you can't simply grey out the restore anywhere checkbox in the restore options.

Thanks for your reply.My recovery points are stored on a Shared LUN acceseble to Many engineers.They have been copying the recovery points and restoring in virtual environmnts using restore anywhere.Iam looking for a possible solution to restrict them

The points are password protected with password shared among all of us.

Iam looking any option to restrict apart from using encrytion and password protection.

Hm, not possible with the product. But you could possible put filesystem restirctions on the shared LUN ?
