Creating a Linux Recovery disk

I am trying to create a Linux 5.7 recovery disk and am getting the error message below:

# createSRD --iso=/mnt/backup/rhel-server-5.7-source-dvd.iso -d /mnt/backup/customSRD.iso
Creating SRD...Please Wait
[ ########################                                            ] 36%
Could not get distribution info from media. Please check the media.

This would seem to imply a problem with the iso file but I have tried 2 different iso files and get the same error message. Anyone have any ideas on this one?

Thanks

Hi,   see page 40 of the SSR

Hi,

see page 40 of the SSR 2013 User Guide.

make sure you replace ' /mnt/backup/rhel-5.7-server-i386-dvd.iso ' with the path and name of the source ISO file you use to create the Symantec Recovery Disk and replace ' /mnt/backup/customSRD.iso ' with the path and nameofthe Symantec Recovery Disk ISO file that you want to create.

EDITED with correct link

The path was fine but I found

The path was fine but I found that I was not using a binary image. Once I got the binary image, I was able to create the iso.

Thanks
