I know Backup Exec does, but we really need to find out if System Recovery can do the job.

Yes, this is supported with SSR 2011.
As long as the versions of Windows & Exchange are listed on the SCL, you will be supported.

Thanks for your reply.
But the link you provide is for Backup exec, and the attachment is for NetBackup.
The product I ask is Symantec System Recovery 2011. I don't think they are the same thing...

The list just states that the software ia compatible with MS Exchange and Windows servers. There is nothing related to DAG backup functions.
I saw that forum post before I open this one, that user was using Backup Exec to backup DAG, not Symantec System Recovery.

Exchange 2010 SP1 DAG
Backupexec 2010 R3 with sp2
Symantec system recovery 2011 with sp1 Installed on Exchange nodes
Forefront 2010 Installed on exchange nodes.

Yes. SSR 2011 supported Exchange 2010 DAG.
Granular Restore Option for Exchange required Outlook 32bit to be installed.
