I used the Email Setup in Backup Exec System Restore ver 8.5 so that I would be notified every time my backup set is completed successfully or not. Everything was working fine for a few days, but then I stopped receiving my notifications.
When I went back to the Email Setup screen none of my data was filled in. I quickly filled in the required fields as I had done so before and when I hit "apply" I received the following error:
"Cannot validate notification settings". "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" This one has me puzzled?? If anyone could help me out I would appreciate it.
