Hi SSR guys :D
I've an issue with one of my server. (in fact i've 3 differents errors, and i will make 3 topics... more easier to find solution when we are taping key words on google...)
I use Full Backup solution (all disk option with incremental for Monday-Tuesd..W-T-F :D , and full backup for the week end)
i've 11 Servers, i've made same jobs for all (only execution time is different for each one) , all is working fine for 8 of them.
For one, i got an error : E7D1002A
I don't know why i've the issue.
What i've tried :
-Delete the job / recreate the job
-Modify the job
-Change the path of backup.
Thanks for you help.

Which Version of SSR exactly are you using?

Hi Maruks,
Sorry, forgot to tell :
I'm using SSR 2013 R2 11.1.3.55088
Symantec Management Console 7.5.3153
Symantec Management agent is running 7.5.3300
Edit : If that can help somes people ; Regarding my other issue on other server it was solved by changing the path of the backup.
I used \\_IP_SERVER\xxx\xx instead of \\_NAME_SERVER\xxx\xxx and it's working. But still fail on this one. (so now i've 10 / 11 backup working)
Regards.

OK, first of all update to SP5 of SSR 2013 R2 and give it another try. Then try to run checkdisk on the volume.

I'm working on the update for SP5 of SSR 2013 R2, i will try to release it asap.
After changing the path of my backup (i've changed \\_SERVER\_location by \\_IP\_location [see my previous post, that's solved 2 errors on 2 other servers]) i've a new Error message.
-Erreur E4F3000B : PreSnap failed on volume \\?\Volume{3e96d189-ece1-11e1-aae7-047d7b112ebc} .

Try to reboot the machine.

Hi Markus
The server reboot each day at 20:30 and i still have the error
No risk with a chkdsk on a prod file server?

Sure there is risk. But at least with us it helped. Most times.

EDIT : SP5 is not release.
Thanks to you.

Hi,
I've worked on the issue (without upgrade to the SP5 for the moment)
The job failed because one of my disk is on error. I saved my server volume per volume and i found the volume who is in fault. I can't backup my F:/ disk .
The error message is regarding my ShadowCopy, but i don't use it.
I've tried to set it to unlimited, activate, desactivate... however it doesn't work.
PS : If that can help the volume in fault got a folder who hosts all *.pst of my users.

Please give SP5 a try.

I will download it asap.
