Hmm , do you have SSR 2013 SP2
Please install using the link if it is not available : http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH214768
If you already have it installed , change the Volume shadow from C: -> Properties to "No limit" or just increase the limit and run the backup.
If that doesn't work either please check : https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/error-e4f3000e-snapshot-failure-while-using-volume-sh...

Please run chkdsk /r /f and disk defragmentation , reboot and re-run backup
