Had a check and our appliance disks are hitachi so ibm and seagate, what do others think ???

According to the document, it seems that Gen 8 or 9 hardware platform is affected by this issue.
We recommend to back up all data in the SSD drive before the SSD firmware is updated.

How come that such a big corporation like HP did not properly test their hard drives? There are various tools for checking/testing firmware.

Never HP again, IBM yes.
