How to restore server from V2i Network backup ?

Hi People,

I have set a regular BESR backup with the network share as the destination of the v2i image.

at the moment I need to restore the server with the last week backup, What is the best choice to do the restore from the network ?

or do I have to attach keyboard, mouse and monitor to this server in the datacenter with the USB drive containing the backup image of this server manually in the datacenter ?

Boot from the SRD.

Map a drive to the backup destination folder.

Start the restore....

So in thiscase shall I initiate the restore from the bootable disc from iLO console (KVM switch) or I can just initiate it using the BESR in the running OS ?

If you want/need to recover the entire server (including the OS), you need to do this via the SRD.

Yes, I will need to restore the whole physical server from the backup image.
