I don't know which version of the software you are using, but this looks like it may be a setting in the program configuration. After all, there comes a point where recovering a full backup, followed by tens or even hundreds of incremental backups would be VERY time consuming, so it would make sense to have an interval at which a full backup is repeated, and maybe yours is set to every three days.
