Locking the UI

Is there anyway to lock the user interface so that users can't get into it?  We are going to 8.5.1 and want to lock the UI so regular users can't get into the app. In the current install we have now I didn't install the UI which was the obnly way I could figure to keep them out of it. However, then I as well can not log onto the server and run a manual backup from the desktop.

There is not currently a way to lock the interface.  One thing you can do though is have only one system with the full UI, like say your DC or your personal system and use that to connect up to the systems that do not have the UI installed.
