Hi guys,
I'm look for this https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.TECH209413
Download and run fixinstall.bat from www.symantec.com/docs/TECH201802.
But this link doesn't work...
I really want to try this fix for my issue with a PreSnap...
error message : Erreur EC8F17B7 : Impossible de créer des points de récupération pour l'opération : MYBACKUPNAME. Erreur E4F3000B : <Unknown result name 'SYMTRACK_ERROR_PRE_SNAP_FAILED'>
Thanks a lot.
Regards.

Have you tried using the batch file that is included in the installation folder (\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec System Recovery\)?

Hi Chris,
Yes i already tryied.
Still have the issue
-Erreur E4F3000B : PreSnap Failed on volume \\?\Volume{xxxxx}
(UMI:V-281-1267-11)

Did you run it in a command window (run as admin) and confirm that it ran successfully? (do not just double click the file in Windows)
Machine then requires a reboot after it has successfully run.

I did, it looks ran successfully.
I can't reboot before 6:00PM it's a prod server
Thanks for your help.
We will see tomorow.

What is the exact version of SSR you have (check in Help/About for version details).
Is the problem with a specific volume? Does it always fail with this error or sometimes work?

Hi Chris,
Someone on the forum tell me to try with the SP5, so my server is running under SSR 2013R2 11.1.5.55405 .
It's the only volume who got an error, and it's always the same issue.

11.1.5 is SP5.
It's the only volume who got an error, and it's always the same issue.
What I mean is; are you backing up more than 1 volume? If yes, do some volumes backup successfully? Which volume fails?

I used full option backup for my servers. All is working fine, but for one of them, the backup failed all the time.
To find the issue for this server i've tryied to use backup volume per volume (i save C, D, E, F singly)
The issue happen only for my F volume, this volume contain a folder with all *.PST file of my user.

So this confirms that there is something specific about volume F causing the failure.
I would recommend that you open a support case for this issue.
