Memory allocation error while restoring an image to partition (using Norton Ghost 11.5.1. while booting)

Hello guys,

I have a laptop: HP6735B where I made an image of my partition (XP Pro, SP3). I stored it on my second partition, where all data is stored.
I have made a clean XP install with a few programs. I then immediatly made an image, so everything is clean.
When I want to restore my image I made, half way through the process, I get an error and looks like this:

General protection fault

Page fault cr2=10000016 in RMCB at eip=bf0ac ; flags=3002
eax=0000000e ebx=00001246 ecx=0000000 edx=00776030 esi=000048c0 edi=000024c0
ebp=00776028 esp=00776000 cs=af ds=8f es=8f fs=33 gs=bf ss=8f errpr=0004

MEMORY ALLLOCATION ERROR
CANNOT LOAD COMMAND, SYSTEM HALTED

I cannot reboot windows because now it is corrupted.
I tried to change the SATA profile to IDE, but Norton can't detect the drives anymore..

Can someone provide me with some suggestions, in order to restore the image file?

Thank you,

Best regards,

I have exactly the same problem, I tried to use Ghost Explorer but it's not working either, the program rejected my image file. So it seems that my GHO file isn't good. And I really hope not because I have some important datas on it !

If someone encountered the same problem and knows how to resolve it, I'd be of a great help !

Thank you.

Best regards.
