Need SSR2013 Destination Files Explained

I realize this is pretty simple, but I can't find it in the manual, or on the web. In simple English, what does all this mean?? (attached) Is there a tech sheet, or explaination somewhere on this?

I realize the JEFFREY-PC_C_Drive002 is a base, and the JEFFREY-PC_C_Drive002_i006, etc are incrementals, but I have in my defination, sets to be saved as '1.' This is the second base & set in a new month; shouldn't it say Drive001 again?

Thank you.

002 at the end is the set number.

It cannot use 001 over and over again because it has to create the new recovery point file before removing the older one. Also, if you are keeping more than 1 set, they obviously cannot all have the same name.

Hope that helps.

So if you used this continually for 20 years, saving 1 set only with a new base monthly, you'd have 1 backup set only on your destination drive with a file name of Drive240??
