Need to switch main backup drive with off-site drive

Currently the backups are to M: (label WD_1000) and off-sites to G: (label Hitachi_3000_1017).

I want to switch so that the backups go to G: and the off-sites to M: without losing the connection between the current backup sets.

I am assuming all I need to do is edit the backup jobs without moving any of the backup files since they are they same names.

Is this correct or is there something else I need to do so I don't orphan the existing backup sets.

Thanks - David

Before editing the job, just check the directory structure on both the drives and make sure they are identical.

Right now they are not identical.

Backup directory is M:\Drive C Backups

Off-site directory is G:\Drive C Backups Copy

I don't think there is any facility to move off-site backups.  What if I created G:\Drive C Backups and copied the backup files from G:\Drive C Backups Copy to G:\Drive C Backups then edited the backup job to reflect the new location for the off-site copies.

If that works, then edit the backup jobs to switch the main and off-site locations.

This should work as well.
