No incremental backups possible

Hello
For five days, the problem is that incremental backups more can be done.

Event Viewer ID 2:
Tracking stopped on volume \ Device \ HarddiskVolume4.

and

Error EC8F17B7: recovery points can not be created for job: Drive Backup of System Reserved (*: \), (C: \).
Error EBAB03F8: error in a test that protects the integrity of the program. 'CHECK failed, Computer :: Create Image File: Computer.cpp (1517): guid = guid () && sequence = 0xffffffff && sequence> 0.!'. (UMI: V-281-3215-6071)

 DENTFL details:
 DENTFL source: Symantec System Recovery

If I then start the backup manually, then a baseline backup is always created. The next incremental generates this error again.

I googled after the error:
Another backup program is not installed and the Windows Backup is not configured.
The only change was that I have reduced the partition size. I have now reversed.
I have deleted the relevant backup job and recreated.

vssadmin list writers: shows no error, all stable.

Now I'm unable to continue. Has anyone an idea?

Hello,

the installation of SP4 helped. The backups have occurred without any problems at the weekend.

I get often times an email from Symantec or Veritas (most recently in September). But it was never there something important about service packs.
I have now entered me in Veritas Community Newsletter.

greetings

I had not yet found.

But from here I do not get ahead
2. Click on the System Protection link on the left side of the window.
3. Highlight the drive (s) the incremental is failing on, then click Configure.
4. Increase the Max Usage amount in increments of 5% until SSR incremental backups occur.

The article is specific to machines that have Samsung SSD's installed.

If your server does not have this, you have a different issue I suspect. Has this ever worked?

What version of SSR do you have (check in Help/About for version details).

A Samsung SSD 850 Pro is provided as the system drive c: \ installed. The description would be OK.

Since 6 months the backup ran until a few days without any problems.

SSR 2013 R2 SBS Server Edition
Ver. 11.1.2.54477

Now I see that there is a SP4. The LiveUpdate believes there are no more updates. -.-

I am running the update and see if the backup runs through again.

Yes, SP4 was never made available on LiveUpdate - you have to download/install it manually.

OK, so seems like that TechNote is relevant then ..
