Ok to manage SSR2011, do i have to rdp to server where this is installed ?

So my question is to manage SSR2011, Do i have to rdp/console to server where this is installed ? Since I understand that IE9 is yet not compatbile with SSR2011, Can the application be accessed remotely from a workstation if IE9 is installed on the server ?

If it can be accessed remotely without RDP, the version of IE9 on the server may not make any difference. Wanted to know what symantec thought about this.

RDP is one option but you can just access via a web browser using:

http://ip_address_of_ssrms_server/Altiris/Console/

Do you mean IE9 being installed on the SSR-MS server or on the remote machine? Either way, IE9 is not supported yet.
