This is probably the wrong place to ask this question but I'm sure someone in here will know the answer.
I recently migrated Windows 2000 Server (and a working Exchange system) from old Dell hardware (using SCSI interface) to newer hardware (using SATA). Everything went fairly smoothly after I broke the RAID5 on the new server and used RAID1 instead. However I have a problem ......
When I need to reboot the server (after updates etc) I can't do it remotely any more (as I used to) since it will not shut down. It hangs at the plain blue screen after displaying its various shutdown messages. I'm sure that it is probably a loaded driver file for something on the old hardware which is causing this, or maybe I'm wrong .....
But how can I sort this out.
Any help appreciated.
