How much does Symantec™ System Recovery 2013 Desktop Edition cost ?
Before I even install the free trial, I need to know how much it's going to cost me if I decide to buy it.
Email me here : medab1@gmail.com
This is an email address I use in situations like this.
If I do not get a response, I will not install the trial version or buy the product.

Thank you very much. :)
I'll try the free trial now.
I could just make a system backup/image with the built in Microsoft program but I wanted to explore other options.
I voted a thumbs up on your reply. :)
I looked all over the Symantec website & simply could NOT find a price. :(
That is not a good way to do business.
Put the price up front or people will think something fishy is going on.

Thank you. :)
Perhaps you could help me further ?
I want to be able to make a backup of everything on my computer.
Operating system & personally added programs & files so that if the computer would become unusable I could connect a usb drive & put everything back & the computer would function.
I do not want to have to manually re-install all my programs especially the paid for programs.
That is tedious.
I was thinking about a 1 TB external usb drive.
Is 1 TB big enough ?
I have ntfs system.
Windows 8 Pro x64
Would I have to format the usb drive in ntfs ?
I have uefi bios.
Thanks in advance for helping me. :)

1TB is probably enough but it will obviously depend on how much data you have on the machine. You have to factor in that you need enough space for at least 2 backup sets (if you specify to only retain one backup set, the second set needs to be created before the first can be removed).
USB drive probably comes already as NTFS.

I don't have much on it.
See picture :
I just formatted a usb drive.
Its default was Fat32.
Formating isn't difficult.
Thank you very much for your help.

If that's the only volume you need to backup, 1TB is plenty.
