in the log file each morning is the following

The backup however shows as complete

vssadmin list writers shows no writers in the error state

Using windows backup there are no issues.

Does anyone have any thoughts ?

Thanks in advance,

Al

Can you open a support case for that ?

I was hoping to get some guidance before going down the route of handing over the companies cash to open a case :(

Sorry I have no Exchange, but maybe you can give a reboot a try ? It helped with other VSS errors in our environment.

Is it SSr 2011 / SSR 2013?

try recommendations on : http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH200584

After a successfully reported Symantec System Recovery (SSR) 2013 backup the Windows Event message below occurs and the Exchange transaction logs were not purged / truncated.
