Questions about Recovery Point Sets - Incremental vs. Full backup

BackDatasUp
Level 2

In the backup history under the column "Type" all of the recovery points sets are referred to the same.  Is there a way I can discern between the full backup and the incremental backups?  I can tell which one is a full backup by the size of the file and if I look at the shedule I can see the dates where a full backup is scheduled and the dates where incremental backups are scheduled, but there's no easy way for me to look at the backup history and see which one is full or incremental.

Another question, if I miss a full recovery point (say the external backup HD isn't connected) and I miss a few incremental backups that follow VSR isn't telling me that I missed anything, the status details seems to be fine.  Shouldn't it tell me that I missed a backup?
