Recover My Files - showing too many files

When I do a file and folder recovery by importing a backup destination, I get the files I imported plus any previous imports. How do i just get the files I just imported and not the others?

Please stop the BESR/SSR service, and clear the catalog.dat file

On Windows 7/2k8/Vista:

 -- C:\ProgramData\Symantec\FileBackup\Catalog.dat

On Windows 2k3/xp:

 -- C:\Documents and Settings\All users\Application data\Symantec\FileBackup\Catalog.dat
