Recover my Computer Wizard generates error not found in KB

I am attempting to restore to dis-similar hardware. I have booted up on the 8.01 BESR SRD CD, and attempted the restore. About 6% of the way done, I get an error "ERROR E0BB0087 : Cannot create partition. Error E0BB007F: The on-disk layout of disk 1 doesn't match the OS information. "

Any ideas why this is, and more importantly, what I need to do to fix it so I can restore this recovery to my other server?

Use the diskpart utility from insructions below to remove any partitions or first track information before attempting your restore:

How to clear partition information using Diskpart
=======================================

1. Type, 'DISKPART' within the command prompt and press enter.
2. Type, 'LIST DISK,' and press enter.
3. Note the disk number of the drive you wish to create a partition upon.
4. Type, 'SELECT DISK #,' where # is the drive number from step 3 and press enter.
5. Type, 'CLEAN' and press enter. (optional) add the switch, '{space}ALL,' to zero out the drive.
6.. Type, 'EXIT' and press enter to leave diskpart.
